Whether we’re talking the storage, transhipment and/or distribution of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, it’s Euro-Rijn you need. We have been specialists in the logistical processes for metals and ores for many years now. Our network covers the whole world and encompasses all possible modes of transport by water and land.
The centre of our network is our site in Moerdijk, which is located close to a hub of motorways that offer quick and easy access to the hinterland. Our own terminal includes a 600-metre long quay with two mobile cranes that is located just four hours from the Hook of Holland by water. Our warehouses offer you a total of 50,000 square metres of storage capacity where we can both store and (if desired) crush, sieve, blend and pack your product.
Independent Commodities Logistics (ICL), which is part of Euro-Rijn, is accredited by the London Metal Exchange (LME) for all base metals. This means that ICL can store base metals such as copper, nickel, aluminium, tin, lead and zinc and is also authorised to issue warrants for them via the LME.
The LME only accredits those logistical service providers with warehouses that have good links to different modes of transport and that allow clients to store metals there free of import duties and ‘BTW’ (Dutch VAT). Euro-Rijn’s facilities in Moerdijk comply with these and all other conditions laid down by the LME.
